About

Hello! Thanks for stopping by SavingForDisney.com where I talk all things Disney. First, I would like to make it clear that I am not affiliated with Disney at all. I have never worked at Disney. I just enjoy blogging about all things Disney. My goal with this blog is to teach others that you CAN go to Disney even if you don’t think you afford to. There are ways to go to Disney World on a budget.

I am a fan of Disney, and a mom to two. I have been to Disney World 3 times in my life. The first time I went to Disney World was when I was a child, back in the 1980′s! I believe I was 6 years old. Although I was young, I have specific memories of Disney World. My husband also went to Disney World around this age.

Over 2 decades passed before I went back! After a beach trip that did not cooperate with my then 2 year old, we decided to take him to Disney World in 2009. We knew he would not remember the trip, but why not go and enjoy it ourselves with our 2 year old? I was pregnant at the time, so I did not ride the rides that said to steer clear if pregnant. My husband and I decided to go back in May of 2011 for my son’s 4th birthday. We took our 4 year old and then 17 month old daughter!

Now my son and I are having Disney withdrawals! This website was born due to us experiencing Disney withdrawals and for us to figure out how to save for this trip. My goal is to educate and inform others about how to save for Disney World, while I am saving along with you! The past two times we went to Disney World we saved a lot of money by knowing about certain tips ahead of time. I plan to share those with you!
